History of the project

We’ve been working together with our partners for a long time to make Bristol Temple Quarter a reality. In 2012, the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone was incorporated. The Strategic Board, made up of the partners, key stakeholders and representatives from government departments first met in 2017. Then, in June 2022, the project got a major boost thanks to nearly £95m from central government.
