The Enterprise Zone is hosting 3 national events that will build its profile in the Creative and Sustainability sectors.
Bristol is the global centre of wildlife film-making, celebrated every 2 years with the Wildscreen Festival, which draws talent from around the world and presents the prestigious Panda Awards. The Award Ceremony is a gala event in the Passenger Shed on October 18th, followed by a free public screening of all the winning films at Watershed on Friday 19th. More here
A week later, on 24th and 25th, the national conference for communicators in the fields of conservation and sustainability, Communicate, will also be staged in the Passenger shed. Run by the Bristol Natural History Consortium, including the BBC and our universities, it’s lead the way for the past decade.
Finally, Bristol Media will run the annual Vision conference from Paintworks on November 14th & 15th, including the Media Innovation Awards. This national conference brings leading thinkers in the business of creative production to the city, and is open to any business keen to learn some new ways of working.
