Are you an employer in the enterprise zone?
If so, Bristol City Council would like to hear your opinions about how movement and access to the area should be prioritised. Whether you, your colleagues, clients or employees walk, cycle, drive or take public transport to work, we’d like to hear your experiences and suggestions for improvement.
This information will feed into the Council’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for the Zone – essentially, a strategic plan designed to satisfy the mobility needs and improve the quality of life of people and businesses in the Zone and its surroundings. The development of a SUMP is not in addition to existing transport planning, but instead builds on present plans and processes to set a clear vision, targets and measures to enable movement to and around the Zone.
If you would be willing to take part, a consultation will be taking place next month. The details of the event are as follows:
Where: Burges Salmon, 1 Glass Wharf, Bristol BS2 0ZX
When: Thursday 20th August, 14:30 – 17:00
Please register for the event before Friday 14th August via Eventbrite and, if the event is oversubscribed, please contact Jacob.pryor@bristol.gov.uk. Please also contact Jacob in case of any queries about the SUMP or the event itself.
The consultation will include a brief presentation on the purpose of a SUMP, followed by 3 short workshops in which you will be able to discuss movement and access issues and solutions for the Zone.
